Absolutely delicious!

I didn't have the sumac so googled for a substitute and lemon zest and salt worked fine! Not sure how it would have been different with the sumac, which I've never tasted before that I'm aware of.

Also substituted ripe Heirloom tomatoes from our garden."

First time I've ever rated a Food Network recipe with only a 1 Star! I am a huge fan of chicken picatta but this dish didn't measure up. I followed the recipe exactly and it was not flavorful at all. Three ate it and none liked it. "

Surprisingly, we thought this dressing was a bit blah. Didn't add the egg, but other than that, followed the recipe.

We are huge fans of simple homemade dressings (don't like bottled at all!) and thought this one would be great. We were disappointed.

I will make it again to see if we feel any differently.

Best tasting chicken pot pie ever! The roasted chicken made a wonderful difference. Didn't miss having potatoes in it at all.

Instead of individual pies, we made one big one. Fantastic!

Fabulous! We replaced Thanksgiving turkey with this roast and will do the same at Christmas. I followed the recipe exactly (used Meyer Lemons instead of regular lemons) and the meat was tasty and moist. The cooking time was definitely less than stated- probably an hour and a half less or so. So definitely keep an eye on the meat thermometer. ...
