Reviewed Giddy-Up Steak with Onion-Date Compote
"First time I tried this recipe it wasn't very flavorful. I tried it again. This time I fully salted/peppered the steak prior to rubbing. Much better. Now it is my husband's favorite steak rub!!"

"I just made the steak, without the compote. The steak was pretty good. Flavor was a little lacking, though. I was expecting a little more excitement to the flavor. I will probably make again with some garlic or something. Still, I really enjoyed it. My kids gobbled it up too!"
Reviewed Fried Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts and Capers
"I had these sprouts at Roast in Detroit and had to recreate them at home. I must say the ones at the restaurant were better, but the ones I made at home were pretty fabulous as well. My husband, who really dislikes Brussels sprouts, really liked these."
Reviewed Molasses Coffee Marinated Pork Chops
"I love this recipe! I've made it multiple times for dinner guests and it has always made an impression. You rock Alton!!!"
Reviewed Baked Fish Dugler-ini and Angel Hair Pasta
"Yumm-O! My non-fish-eating husband thought it was absolutely fabulous! Thanks Rachel!!!"
Reviewed Overnight Oatmeal
"So sad. By reading previous reviews, I think it might have been my slow cooker. I put it in the crockpot on low, but 2 hours later it started to burn around the edges. So, I turned it down to 'keep warm.' By morning, the oats had disintegrated, and it was a nasty pot of mush. The dog wouldn't even eat it. I'm very sad because I had such high expectations. Any suggestions?
