I just made the steak, without the compote. The steak was pretty good. Flavor was a little lacking, though. I was expecting a little more excitement to the flavor. I will probably make again with some garlic or something. Still, I really enjoyed it. My kids gobbled it up too!"

Fabulous! My four young children even loved it! I took it to work the next day and reheated it. All it needed was a little water (or milk) and it was just like day 1. I also used lactose free milk, since I am lactose intolerant. Worked just fine with the recipe. Thanks Aarti!!!
