Reviewed creamy, lemony, pepper-parmesan dressing on romaine lettuce salad

Mar 26, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is definitely going to be my go to dressing for romaine lettuce. I used two hearts of romaine and grated two cloves of garlic with the lemon zester. I followed other peoples advice and used half of a lemon instead of a whole lemon. Love how this recipe uses ingredients more readily available at home and can be put together quickly. Made homemade...

Wow! Great recipe! I had a spicy pork sausage so i skipped all the spicy seasonings and added yellow and green squash and baby Bella mushrooms and it was super delish! Oh, didn't have asiago cheese so used Parmesan instead but I think asiago would've been better. Either way, I scarfed down my whole plate and had leftovers for lunch today. Had enou"

Reviewed Roast Prime Rib of Beef with Horseradish Crust

Dec 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Was the first time making prime rib roast. I don't know why his recipe calls for so much salt~!! The crust was incredibly disgusting and I spent a good amount of time trying to scrape it all off. I spent $125 for the prime rib alone and was so worried I wasn't going to be able to serve it. But I was able to scrape off the most inedible parts and...

I've been waiting for thanksgiving just so I could make turkey pot pie with the leftovers. I'm a novice cook with a picky husband but thanks to foodnetwork, my husband thinks I'm a super chef all of a sudden. I took the turkey carcass and made a stock out of it using Ina's recipe for chicken stock and cut it down a little because hers makes a lot...

Reviewed Banana Bread with Pecans

Nov 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I ate this at a friends house and it was so good I asked her right away for the recipe. I used to make banana nut bread out of the box, but I've already made this twice and EVERYbody loves it. I haven't tweaked the recipe at all but other peoples suggestions sound good too. ""

Reviewed Smothered Pork Chops

Nov 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It was a pretty good recipe, but I think fried pork chops just taste better in general. In terms of pork chops, I think the Chinese recipes are my favorite. But it was an easy recipe and pretty tasty. I don't think I'll make it often, but I may try it again if i happen to have pork chops and buttermilk I need to use up. ""

Didn't change a thing to the recipe~ One of my husband's favorite chicken dishes. I would recommend this for everyone. It's also really good to serve to friends/guests.""

Reviewed Chicken with Mustard Mascarpone Marsala Sauce

Oct 15, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Super delish! I'm going to use chicken thigh next time because my husband always complains about how dry chicken breast is. But for those of you who don't mind chicken breast, I still think it tastes really good because the sauce is such a rich, strong flavor that it doesn't really matter. Also, the directions doesn't tell you to cut the onion in...

Apr 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These definitely didn't turn out as great as I thought they would. The filling was not sweet enough and so much juice bubbled to the outside, they weren't pretty. I definitely recommend adding the sugar and I like the idea of baking the crusts for a few mins first. I don't know if I'd attempt making these again, but if someone has success with a d"

Reviewed Crispy Parmesan Biscuits

Apr 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made 2 batches of these for a brunch at my house. I made half with the smoked salmon and half with the proscuitto. The guests equally loved them. I love the crunchiness of the cornmeal. Definitely a hit for a brunch. The parmesan is salty so don't add too much salt! Highly recommend. Also, a friend asked me for the recipe that same day."

I've been wanting to make this for forever and I finally got around to making it. I wish I would've made it earlier! I took someone's advice on adding the mozzarella to the stuffing and I accidently added the 1/3 of the two "
