Reviewed Chocolate-Hazelnut Drop Cookies

Apr 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

these were very yummy and easy to make...for those who had problems, you only add 1/4 cup powdered sugar to the batter and the other 1 cup is for dusting the cookies after they are cooled. Just incase you wanted to give it another go.
a very light and easy cookie, very chocolatey and delish!"

Reviewed Black Bean Brownies

Apr 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is such a great recipe! The brownies were very cake-like and chocolatey. For those who had problems, did you rinse the beans when using canned beans? That may have added extra salt and what-not to the batter. This is definately going to be my go-to recipe for brownies from now on. YUM!"

Reviewed Apple Crumble with Cardamom-Vanilla Caramel Sauce

Apr 10, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This crisp reminded me of one my mom use to make! It was delish! I used ground cardamon instead of the seeds and it worked just fine. It did take me longer to get the caramel sauce brown and it thickened up after removing from the heat. This was a great recipe and will be making it again for sure!"

Reviewed Warm Steak and Potato Salad

Apr 10, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I loved this receipe. It is really hearty and filling salad! I had to bake the potatoes alot longer as well, more like 40 minutes. I would use a little bit bigger piece of steak next time. All in all it was very good!"

I loved this meatloaf! The sauce on top is so good and adds great flavor. Reminded me of the meatloaf my mom use to make!"

Reviewed Cauliflower Gratin

Apr 5, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a great recipe! It seems a bit time consuming but the end result is great! I used cheddar cheese instead of the Gruyere since I had it on hand, but it still turned out very good. Panko is a great crumb to put on the top, giving it an extra crunch! My 2-year-old even ate her cauliflower!"

Reviewed Fish Tacos

Apr 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

this was very tasty! I used regular cabbage that I had already and it tasted great! Used corn tortillas instead since I prefer those for fish tacos. The cabbage mixture was very light and really good. Thanks Anne! You ROCK!"
