I was trying to find Giada's recipe, which is pretty similar but without the nuts. I made them for my couples bridal shower last summer but I brushed both sides of each slice with olive oil prior to baking. They were a HIT! Don't skimp on the honey.. it really makes the dish!

HOLY MOLY! This is by far the best green bean casserole I've ever had. Don't avoid boiling the green beans in broth... I think that was the secret. I was a little surprised that it didn't make very much. Kind of depressing that we were able to eat the entire thing in one sitting :(
