Reviewed Rum Balls Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network

Jan 29, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I can't drink (I break out into hives when I do), but this was so simple I made them for friends and family for Christmas and I took one little taste and had to pop a Benedryl (it does taste strong at first), but they were still very good and everyone went wild for them! Even people I wasn't sure would care for rum balls really enjoyed them. I love...

Reviewed sloppy joes

Goodbye Manwich! We haven't had sloppy joes for years because I just got so sick of the canned stuff. I don't know how anyone can liked the canned stuff after eating this. I left out the pepper and jalapeno because I personally don't care for them, and I doubled the molasses and it was great.

Reviewed perfect pot roast

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is the best pot roast I've ever put in my mouth. It is fall apart tender and packs such flavor! USE THE WINE. USE THE FRESH HERBS. They really make a difference in the flavor profile. The beauty of this recipe is that you can use the meat for other recipes that call for tender beef (I only use this now for my stroganoff) and if you want amazing...

Is there anything this woman makes that isn't wonderful? I haven't found anything, yet. We loved these pancakes. The lemon flavor wasn't overpowering and they were light and delicious.

Reviewed beef stroganoff for noodles

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I now always make this recipe using Ree Drummond's recipe called Perfect Pot Roast for the meat. I also incorporate some of the drippings from the roast pan into the sauce as I'm cooking it and the red wine mixed with the beef flavors really amps up the flavor! I don't use the mustard or dill (just my personal taste). If I use a bigger roast then...

Reviewed peach-almond upside-down cake

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I too had the same issue with their caramel recipe, I had to throw out the first batch and just used another recipe for it, PLUS added sea salt to it to make it a salted caramel and the results were AMAZING. I also used sugar plums interspersed with the peaches. This is in the recipe box, along with a different caramel recipe.

Reviewed coconut macaroons

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I made these for my son and my best friend who are in love with all things coconut and they were a huge hit! For the reviewers who found them runny, I think you just need to ensure the egg whites are beaten to the right consistency. Next time I'm going to use almond extract and I think they will be even more amazing. WTG Ina!

Reviewed salisbury steak

Jan 23, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I HATED Salisbury Steak growing up, probably because my mom always gave us TV dinners with it, but I trust Ree and WOW was I glad I did. The "steaks" are so flavorful and delicious! This is one I'll be making for years.

Reviewed Pulled Pork Barbecue

I wish you could rate the sauce separately. I, too, did not care for the sauce so I used The Neelys' BBQ sauce recipe, minus a bit of the sugar, and my family is in LOVE with this pulled pork! I use two 3lb. boneless loin cuts and wow does it just fall apart and melt in your mouth! I've put it on corn tostadas with some Mexican cheese and baked i"

The pork is almost finished and smells wonderful, but so far the sauce seems to be really strong on the mustard flavor. I'm hoping adding the drippings makes it lighten up on that flavor a bit. "
