Very yummy. I cooked it in a Dutch oven for about 2 hours. I added a chipotle in adobe and beef broth as needed when it got too thick. Definitely a keeper.

Reviewed grilled corn with bell pepper butter

Jul 5, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

very tasty. Next time I'll open one up to check for doneness. 6 minutes just melted the butter, didn't really cook the corn and I like it still a little crunchy so definitely needs more time or higher temp.

These were okay. Next time I will cool the liquid before adding it to the cucumbers. It was better before it softened and we ate them 2 hours after making them. Double the liquid too so it completely covers the cucumbers.

Reviewed bourbon bbq pulled chicken sandwiches and green apple slaw

Jul 5, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I am only rating the slaw. The dressing was too oily so I had to add more vinegar and lemon juice, end up adding orange juice as well because it was so tart. I like the idea but next time I'll try a different dressing all together.

These were okay. My friends liked them better than I did. They were a little runny and I wasn't a fan of the bacon inside it. If I make again, I will put bacon on top try to tighten up the filling. I prefer her twice-baked new potato.

Very good and surprisingly moist. I was out of vanilla and reduced the recipe to one third and it was still fantastic. This is a keeper for sure.

It was okay. Tasted like meatloaf. I usually cover my meatloaf with ketchup but I think I'll use this topping next time for something a little more interesting.

Reviewed White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Nov 19, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

After looking at several other cookie recipes, I believe that there is too much baking soda in this recipe which caused it to be too salty for me. I will reduce to 1/2 teaspoon instead of 1 1/2 teaspoon.

Reviewed White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Nov 18, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

These were good cookies. I used dried cherries instead of cranberries because some family members do not like cranberries. This sounds a little silly but they tasted salty to me, though there is no salt added. I used unsalted butter and unsalted nuts. I don't know. In any case, they were good.

Reviewed Roasted Garlic Fingerling Potatoes

Oct 2, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Clscheer said it perfectly. Took twice as long to cook and the garlic was hard, bitter and burnt. I blame myself. I knew not to slice garlic before roasting. I discovered that Im not a fan of multi-colored fingerling potatoes but that has nothing to do with the recipe.

Wow is this good. I doubled the proscuitto since there were 8 slices in the package. My rolls were on the larger side so it took about 50 minutes. I served them whole, one per person and didnt bother with wrapping them in plastic after rolling them. They turned out great. No need to brown beforehand or to use a sauce because they are great as"

I didnt make the BBQ sauce, I just srinkled it with kosher salt after pulling it apart and it was wonderful as is. I had to tweak the coleslaw a little; less dijon, more sugar and went half and half on mayo and miracle whip because we like it a little sweeter. Nice change to your run of the mill coleslaw. (I would rate the slaw 4 stars with the"

Very good. I added fresh mozzarella and had to settle on a variety of non-heirloom tomatoes and a baguette since I couldn't find the suggested items. I had to use fresh basil and regular EVOO since I couldn't find the infused oil either but it was still good. I usually don't rate recipes that I tinker with but I went to four stores looking for "

I cannot comment on anything but the filling but oh my is it good. I had leftover strawberries and marscapone so I wanted to use them up before the strawberries went bad. The flavor was okay but definately not worth the effort. Rolling these things makes a hot mess. I ended up leaving them sort of disc-like with nuts pressed on top. I tried rolling one into a ball but it just melted all over my hands. I think I'll stick to making fudge next time."

Very good sauce. Use leftover sauce for dipping (reserve some - don't use same sauce you've dipped brush for basting in). The grilled peaches were a nice change for a side dish.

I didn't have a jalepeno so I had to settle for ground cayene. I also used boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Thanks Bobby."
