Reviewed Succulent Braised Pork

Jan 10, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Absolutely amazing! It really took no time at all, was very cheap to make, and was the most decadent pork dish I've ever had! So happy I was watching Food Network when melissa made this one!

It's a new staple in our house, even the 3 year old and the 5 year old liked it!

Reviewed Raspberry-Vanilla Smoothie

Feb 24, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this with banana's and some left over fruit punch I had of my kids. It was amazing, and my 2 year old and 4 year old loved it. Wonderful recipe! I can't wait to get more fruit and make more smoothies for the family! ""

Pretty simple. I used her peanut sauce recipe, and it was like eating soy sauce. There was no other flavor or heat. Next time I will double the peanut butter in the sauce, and quadruple the heat."

Reviewed Spicy (or Mild Peanut Sauce

Jul 31, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It was not spicy or peanuty enough, but it has potential. I would add three times the hot, and double the peanut butter. That'd probably do it. We will be trying this again, with the adjustments made."

Reviewed Blondies

This was the best recipe yet for blondies! The first one I tried was too sweet. This one is excellent. The next time I make this one, I am putting chopped walnuts in it, and making a maple and walnut sauce to go over it. With a scoop of good vanilla ice cream on the side, I'll never have to go to Applebee's again! Thanks food network!"

These were overly sweet. They were very fudgy, and did not need the toffee or the chocolate chips in them. I am going to try a different recipe for blondies that calls for less sugar, and hopefully these ones will be more cake like."

Reviewed Blueberry Muffins

May 24, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These are amazing! The only variant I did was I used vanilla yogurt instead of plain. It's just what I had in the fridge. I did these with raspberries and blueberries. The blueberries were better only because there were no seeds, but this is divine. A must try!!"

Reviewed Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Feb 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This has been a staple at my house for years. I do agree, take the time to hand grate in the sharpest cheddar cheese you can find. It makes a world of difference in this recipe.

Reviewed Emeril's Butter Cookies

Jan 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made these, and used a 4 oz baby food jar as a cookie cutter. These were so amazing, I had to distract myself from eating the raw dough. On top of that, I used a 1/4 teaspoon, and made an intent in the center of the raw cookie. I then used the same teaspoon, and added nutella to the center. Positively divine!

I saw this recipe years ago while I was in the hospital delivering my first son. It sounded so tasty, my husband made it for my coming home dinner. It's now a weekly favorite.

Made these in some fancy wine glasses for a dinner party. They were fantastic, and I wasn't in the kitchen all night making dessert!

Reviewed New York Style Chocolate Cheesecake

Jan 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was delicious. Well worth the price for the ingredients. My husbands grandfather was a chocolatier and passed away before giving out his chocolate cheesecake recipe. My husband says this is the closest we've found in 5 years.

Made these last night along with fried shrimp. I put old bay in the beer, and used Coruna. Also, I used lime instead of lemon. Very tasty! We gorged till our hearts content!
