Reviewed Hanger Steak with Shallot Cherry Sauce

"Just made this tonight for the first time and it was outstanding. I didn't have garlic-infused olive oil, but I made my own version my simply adding two cloves of minced garlic to the olive oil. The steak turned out great on the grill and the sauce was delicious. I loved the combination of the shallot flavor with the cherries. I did forget to purchase the pomegranate juice, but I substituted with a little burgundy wine...it turned out fine. I will definately make this again."

Reviewed Spicy Beef Chili

"This was very good...however I found that it needed more chili powder. I also added about a teaspoon of cumin. I love the use of black beans vs. red kidney beans and the burgundy wine gave it a nice flavor.
