My Activity

Reviewed Irish Soda Bread

"I love Ina's recipes. This one is no different, everyone loved it.
I was concerned when my dough didn't come out sticky. Maybe
Because I made my buttermilk (lemon juice and milk . When I baked it
it took almost an hour . Next time I will divide the dough so it does not
take so long to bake. I Did use cranberries instead of currents and I added"

Reviewed Pork and Noodle Stir-Fry

"I know its suppose to be light; but I don't think adding soy or teriyaki would add to many calories. Definitely needs more flovor. Kids liked it so that's a plus. My husband added sriracha hot Chili sauce. Will try again."

Reviewed Tortellini With Pumpkin Alfredo Sauce

"I love pumpkin so I added more pumpkin. Didn't have heavy cream so I added whole milk instead. It came out great. Even my son who is not big with trying new things; liked it. I will make this dish again. Tip; sauce thicken up as it cools; put some pasta water aside even if you don't think you need it. Don't boil sauce will separate."

"I've made this a couple of times, it has great flavor. I didn't add the beans, and I add a lot more on the spices. Great recipe my husband and kids love it.."

Reviewed Big Pasta with Mushroom, Parsley, Garlic and Thyme

"I made this dish for Christmas Eve family gathering. Everybody loved it. So much flavor it was wonderful. Nigella says it serves 16, but it serves more then that. I put it in a turkey roasting pan it made so much. The only thing I would suggest is not to pour all the liquid from the dried mushrooms in. Because there is a grittiness that settles in the bottom of the pan. I will be making this again, but just cutting it in half.

Reviewed Lentil Soup

"I've never made lentil soup. I bought some steamed lentils that are ready to eat. I hope it works the same in this recipe. I can't wait to try this soup. I was disappointed that people are using this site to sell things. If I wanted to buy a jersey I'm not going to look here.

Reviewed Saffron Risotto with Butternut Squash

"This was my first time making risotto and it was wonderful. I was concerned about it being to salty so I used 4tlbs unsalted butter, low sodium ckn broth and no pancetta. I am definitely making this risotto, it was so easy.
