Reviewed grilled shrimp with chili cocktail sauce

Sep 26, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Honestly, I only made the cocktail sauce and served it with plain cooked shrimp for shrimp cocktail. But OH MY it was AMAZING! Everyone in my family commented on how delicious it was. This is my new go-to cocktail sauce recipe!

I feel like that review has to be a joke. Who complains about a recipe calling for olive oil, kosher salt, or using a grill!? Lol! Unless, perhaps, the reviewer lives in a foreign country where they don't normally grill? I did think the review was amusing, but annoying that they gave the recipe one star without bothering to even TRY figuring it out,...

I am nearly 100% certain the review from Tiger Flower has to be a joke. Anyway, this is one of the BEST recipes for steak I've ever made. My husband and I just loved it! We are making it yet again tonight. The marinade is phenomenal! The combination of flavors is absolutely perfect. I could unfortunately only marinate mine for about two hours...

This was a great recipe! My husband grilled one half of the recipe about two hours after I started marinating, then we left the rest in the marinade overnight to grill the next night. Yes, it's definitely got more flavor if left to marinate overnight, but is delicious either way. I love the grilled lemons, too. This would be great for a larger...

This was delicious! I took the advice of another reviewer and added a squeeze of Dijon, along with two cloves of minced garlic. The dressing was one of the best I've ever tried, and I'll definitely be making that often.

I LOVE salt, and I thought this had too much salt. I think I would halve the salt in both the spice mixture and in the batter. Or maybe at the very least cut the salt in the spice mixture in half. Otherwise the flavor was great, and the batter was oh-so-crunchy! This was very easy to make - we served it with some homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw....

This was delicious and so easy. I don't have a mini food processor, so I just used my regular one with no problems. My husband doesn't like sauce, so I used the glaze on mine, and made his plain with just salt and lemon pepper. I broiled it for an additional five minutes longer than the recipe stated. I also served some additional sauce on the...

I was initially concerned about making this, as I read a few reviews that said the stock lacked flavor, richness, depth, etc...but for any of you who may be concerned as I was, I have two words for you: USE SALT. I pretty much followed the recipe as-is, except for I added a whole lot of salt! Once the stock was done, I used my fat separator to...

My family LOVED this! I made it for Christmas Eve, and served with a simple salad, Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple syrup, and some cheddar biscuits (a la 'Red Lobster'). This was delicious and so easy to make! I followed the recipe exactly...though I don't like to caramelize onions on 'medium', I prefer a lower heat...so I did have heat a bit lower than the recipe suggested. Otherwise - didn't change anything. I served it with kettle cooked potato chips - YUM! Will definitely make again and again!"

This recipe is SO EASY! I had to make this recipe x6 because I was feeding a VERY large group.
