Reviewed Crepes with Orange Zest and Chocolate

"Oh man, this put me on cloud nine. The flavors were complimentary and refreshing, and honestly, if my brother didn't eat them all I think I'd go back for seconds. I added a tad less grand marnier and served it with fresh orange juice. I was surprised at how good they tasted together."

About Me

What can I say? The name's Dirk Strider and cooking is sort of a big deal. Growing up on fish and soda kind of makes you appreciate the finer qualities of a dish, such as, you know, having actual food on it.

It wasn't until after undergoing a total Armageddon that my eyes were opened to the wonderful world of flavor variety. I honestly began tearing up the first time I tasted pizza and steaksauce.

I currently live with my ecto sibling/guardian/father/son person in our shared high-rise apartment. I'm made fun of a bit by him for cooking as much as I do, calls me a ~*~housewife~*~ but I don't mind much. I like what I like, and he doesn't usually complain when I serve him meals.

Favorite Foods

Old habits die hard, and regardless of my forced lifelong diet of orange-things and seafood, they still always get me. Aside from that though, I primarily enjoy pastas, fresh vegetables and cheeses prepared in a million different ways, and when we can afford it I adore deli meats. I'm not used to eating them though; they make me sleepy and I get a stomach ache but it's worth it.
