My Activity

Reviewed Sausage-Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms

"I've probably made this over a dozen times in just a year, we love it so so much! My biggest tip, don't bother finely chopping your veggies, you just throw it all in a food processor at the end. And I don't wait for meat to finish browning before I throw in the veggies since they might need a bit of extra cooking time since roughly chopped. Als"

"So delicious and so impressive! Also super easy to make. I blanched the asparagus and mixed the cheeses, etc together ahead of time, also baked the crust ahead of time. "I didn't do the olives because I'm not a fan. It def tastes great and is easy but I think it needs a bit more of something - maybe a pinch of cumin or maybe curry powder! Also I put some agave syrup in the egg wash to sweeten up the dough a tiny bit. Will def do again, loved the idea of the french loaf dough - you can stuff that with anything!""

About Me

I am a mom to a 9 month old baby girl so I don't get to cook as much as I use to (I think I went 2 months one time without making the same thing!).  I use foodnetwork.com for most of my recipes.  I use to look for recipes that took all day, now I have to look for quicker recipes because of my daughter.  But I still love to cook when I can!
