My Activity

Reviewed Gumbo

"OMG we loved it -- the time to cut up all the veggies and meat is worth it. My only concern is the roux -- not sure if it thicken up dish. I did add 1 more cup of water and beef cube to stretch the meal and it was perfect. definitely a keeper. Oh - we don't like okra so i added the tomatoes for only 30 minutes i'm assuming the 1 hour on recipe is for the frozen okra.

"YES -OMG saved this recipe over a year ago and finally made it last night -- easy and really good. My guests even ate it cold - i keep telling them to pop it in the microwave but they said it was good jus the way it was. NExt time I will not use Town house crakcers - they were 2 buttery and I will keep dip in a small crockpot to keep it atleast warm. Definitely will make his again. Thanks Paula
