"in place of brandy -orange juice & the zest of one orange
roll in cocoa, powder sugar, cayenne pepper just a pinch & cinnamon and rolled the truffles in this combo (in place of cocoa you can used a flavored cinnamon hot chocolate mix and a pinch of cayenne or any flavor hot cocoa mix for those who find cocoa powder to be to bitter

1 8oz cream cheese softened
3 cups sifted powder sugar(sift then measure out 3 cups sifted)
3 cups bitter sweet chocolate melted over double boiler
1 1/2 tsp vanilla or any flavor you like...rum, burbon, brandy get creative! (you can even divide and make several flavors)

in mixer cream the powder sugar & cream cheese together when well mixed add the melted chocolate and stir in flavoring of choice
cover and place in fridge at least 45 minutes
I take a spoon of mix and roll into a ball with gloved hands then roll in nuts or any topping of your choice.

Reviewed Chocolate Truffles

"very good but messy here's my hints:

I made several batches in one batch in place of brandy I reduced 1/2 cup of orange juice down to 1/4 cup over the stove grated in the zest of one orange allowed to cool a bit then stirred it into the mix in place of brandy. I love the combo of orange and chocolate and these were by far my favorite ones!
I didn't melt choclate for the orange batch instead i mixed cocoa, powder sugar, cayenne pepper just a pinch & cinnamon and rolled the truffles in this combo (in place of cocoa you can used a flavored cinnamon hot chocolate mix and a pinch of cayenne or any flavor hot cocoa mix for those who find cocoa powder to be to bitter Rasberry hot cocoa mix is amazing as well with raspberry extract in the truffles!

Reviewed Chicken Pot Pie

"This is my favorite Ina go to recipe for the fall and winter time. Follow the recipe you will not be disappointed, it is so rich and down right home cooked good. The crust is incredible, do not use store bought. Sure it is rich in calories but not something you eat everyday either. Enjoy life and treat yourself every now and then. I just run a few extra miles, well worth it!
Perfect recipe as it is do not change a thing, you will be AMAZED!
