Reviewed Chicken and Pineapple Skewers
"The recipe as it stands is excellent-- wouldn't change a thing. Adults and kids loved it. The sauce is super easy and I have used it as a glaze for other dishes as well, such as pork, chicken fingers, and meatballs. If not using the pineapple, I add a some orange or pineapple juice to the sauce to get the fruity componet into it. ""
Reviewed Fish Tacos
"Good dish for fish :) Kids ate it well and so did husband (whom is a non-fish sort of guy). Made the recipe as it stands except using average joe chili powder rather than Ancho chili powder. Loved the sauce personally and so did husband, but kids being kids, used ranch dressing instead.""
Reviewed Texas Oven-Roasted Beef Brisket
"Way too salty with 2 TBS of salt. I didn't read reviews as recipe had such a high star rating, but after making it, I looked a little closer. Many stellar reviews, but nearly all report reducing the salt... not the recipe as written. My fault, should have read the reviews and should have noted the salt seemed high for the 4 lbs of beef.""
Reviewed Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps
"These are ok as they are. As no salt is added to the coating, it is totally reliant on salt and much flavor from the bacon, so good bacon makes a big difference. I personally now add powdered garlic, powdered onion, S and P, and a little cayanne to the mix to boost the flavor (or make up for lackluster bacon). As for prep, they are pretty easy to have preassembled and ready to coat and bake when company comes. I have done them many times and people do love them!
