Reviewed Parker's Split Pea Soup

"This soup was very good. Even without the ham, it had a lot of flavor. I did add additional liquid. I started with 8 cups of chicken stock and then used water for the additional liquid to keep it from getting too salty. I made some croutons to go with it. I will definitely make it again."

"The first time I made this recipe I had the same problem with it spilling over and sinking. This time I used 3 pans and it came out perfect. I also omit the egg from the frosting because of potential salmonella. This cake is always a hit.""

Reviewed Pat's Spicy Fried Wings

"To g9rocks64...I think you misunderstood the directions...it was not meant to be a mixed batter. You have to dip the wings in the egg mixture and then coat them with the flour mixture. Give it another try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised."
