"I didn't have a baked potato so I prepared a package of instant mashed potatoes and used less water to make the mashed potatoes thick. This worked like a champ. I added bread crumbs as I found the salmon cake mixture wet as well. Next time I will refrigerate mixture before forming in to patties as others have recommended. This recipe is great.""
