My Activity

Reviewed Pot Roast Carbonnade

"Very easy to do, I did this one on my lunch hour for later. The seasonings were excellent, I used a blue moon beer because that's what I had on hand, and was surprised it turned out so well. Might also want to add garlic next time, but this was wonderful without it."

Reviewed Pork Tenderloin with Portobello Mushroom and Sweet Potato Pancakes

"The sweet potato patties fell apart! I did put the egg and flour to combine them just as the recipe said, but they were a total mess.

Reviewed Fruit Salad with Limoncello

"A great way to get my husband to eat fresh fruit. This followed a cheese, sausage and broccoli soup that was heavy, perfect.

Reviewed Panettone Bread Pudding

"Wonderful recipe to surprise my husband on his first day on the new job! Was easy, made a lot though. I ended up dividing it into four smaller baking dishes to do it, and passed them out to friends and family that day. Only variation was that I added some Gran Marnier to the custard, since there was orange in the pannetone. I also make a little dressing for the top, cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar, just on the pieces that I thought were too crunchy. It was delicious.

Reviewed Buttermilk Cheddar Biscuits

"Easy to make, delicious, everyone LOVED them. This might be my basic recipe for any kind of biscuits. Options for the future, add dry mustard, chives, omit cheese and add streusel chunks. These are easy and that good.
