This is a keeper! I didn't have any file on hand so I skipped it. For those who don't know what it is it's ground sassafras leaves. It is used as a thickener and for flavoring-sometimes at the end of cooking and sometimes it is added as a condiment at the dinner table. The leaves are used in soups and stews and if you pull up a sassafras plan"

Tasty! Not my usual potato salad, but I have been trying lots of different recipes lately. Wasn't sure if I was going to like this one as right after I made it I thought it tasted a little bland. But after sitting in the fridge overnight it tasted really good. I did add a larger amount of dressing as I like my potato salad a little more moist "

To DIE for beefy goodness! Had never cooked a brisket in the oven before, but since our smoker was stolen I had no choice this time. I took the suggestion of others and used a beer in addition to the beef stock. I also used brown sugar instead of regular. I left the salt amount the same as the recipe states and I can't figure out why some peo"

Very flavorful rice dish! The rice absorbs the flavors from the sausage, chicken, and spices. I didn't have any red pepper so I used some Tony Chachere's instead. This dish is not bland at all and the rice cooks perfectly with the amount of water indicated. Once I added the rice I kept the pot at a low simmer for about 25 minutes and it came o"

Delish! Really like this recipe. I used fresh parm as I had some already instead of the "sprinkle" kind he uses in the video. Don't leave out the Ritz crackers as they made a yummy crunchy topping that was a good compliment to the squash and onion. I bet cream cheese would be good as a substitute for the sour cream too. My DH doesn't like sou"

Dry, dry, dry. I would suggest doubling up on the cheese sauce. I didn't care for the strong flavors from the herbs. It just didn't work for me. The sauce tasted good by itself, but was lost in the mix of the final product. It didn't taste cheesy at all. The topping did turn out nice and crunchy so that part works. I'm going back to my standard tu"

Very easy to make. The tangy and sightly sweet sauce makes the dish. I want to try Grand Marnier in this sauce. I bet that would be delicious! Would also be good on Cornish game hens, chicken, or turkey."

Hadn';t made this dish in years. Something I used to make when I was a starving student. I precooked the veggies (carrots and green beans) in the microwave so they would be tender. I added onion to my meat mixture just because I really love onions. Would suggest making extra mashed potatoes for a thicker layer on top because they are deli...

I didn';t like this recipe, but my DH did. He ate FOUR big helpings and finished it off the next day! It was just too heavy on the cheese and too light on the egg for me. Maybe I can tweak it to better suit me."

A hit! Even better second day! I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs which cooked up so nice and tender. I used Knorr Swiss Chicken and Tomato Bouillon as that's what I had on hand. It added a nice golden color as well as extra flavor. I used about a quart more water than the recipe called for. I cheated and used frozen dumplings (thawed)"
