“What a letdown. 8 hours in the slower cooker and my corned beef was still tough. And the apple juice seemed to have the opposite intended effect because my in-laws are Polish and never say 'no' to cabbage but they were not a fan of the taste of the veg that was cooking for a third of the day in the slower cooker.
