“I went 1 lb figs, only 1/3 cup sugar (not the full insulin-injection-industry-recommended cup in this recipe), 1/3 cup water, 1/2 of a big lemon.
Stirred every 10-20 minutes over lowest heat on the stove for 1 hour 45 minutes.
