Reviewed Spicy Cranberry Chutney
"I dig it! I used two bags of cranberries (about 7 cups) and 3 jalapenos but kept the seeds of only 1. Of course it depends on the particular jalepenos, but mine ended up really spicy (and i have an extremely high tolerance and craving for spice). The blend of the citrus zests/juices and spiciness of the jalepenos and the tartness of the cranberries really work. It's not something to eat a lot on its own, but it will be really delicious with food!
"I love them! It's more subtle, almost refined compared to most other recipes, yet very tasty! I can't believe I've never added ROASTED garlic before, but it adds a nice garlic-ey sweetness. The mascarpone cheese is a really nice touch compared to the more expected sour cream. I like to bring unique, tasty dishes especially if I'm bringing over sides and this recipe is a keeper! (i might garnish a bit with some chives)
