Reviewed Cousin Jonnie's Red Velvet Whoopee Pies

"I am making these for Christmas. Before I made them, I read all of the reviews (both here and on Paula's own website) in addition to watching her make them on her show. In a nut shell, my cookies have come out great!!!! Yes, they are slightly big but oh well they will be that much more yummy with a cream cheese filling. To the woman who said to use three tablespoons of cocoa, it's not three but two. Rewatch the video and Paula says to use two tablespoons. I also used the entire bottle of red food coloring like Jamie used and the color is perfect. More importantly, use a small ice cream scooper. But most of all, after I put six cookies on the cookie sheet, I've covered up the batter and put it back in the refigerator to keep the batter firm. Bobby Flay recently had a show about whoopie pies and that is what he did instead of them running all over the pan.
