Replied to Perfect Roast Chicken

Jan 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Not sure where you live which could be the reason you could not find a larger chicken. But I get a perfect, Organic, free range whole chicken 5-6 lbs at Trader Joe's, anytime I go there. Maybe you can order one from the butcher if they don't normally stock them?

Amazing! I saw the show this weekend and could not wait to try the lobster. I had my grocery store steam the lobsters for me and then we just finished up with the grilling. We also soaked the claw meat in the butter and ate alongside the lobster rolls, and we added the extra meat to a lobster bisque.

It's a hot summer evening and my hubby and I wanted something light. It was a long day of work so I didn't make the dressing, used a pre made we like, but the CROUTONS WERE AMAZING! We added some chicken and it was a complete meal. Just one more of your recipes I love!!! Next time I will make the dressing too. I will never used prepackaged cr"

Gazpacho is one of my favorite things and this recipe is awesome. It was a little too sweet, so I will cut back on the sugar next time, but adding some extra Tabasco and salt made it perfect. I didn't add any of the toppings because I am dieting, except for my one favorite Gazpacho topping.....low fat sour cream! Just a dollop adds a wonderful "

This is fabulous as is - warm, room temp or chilled. But it is also a great base to add whatever you love best. If chilled, I would add some diced red pepper and cucumber. Be sure to check your salt and pepper because you want to have enough to bring out all the other flavors without over powering them. I am passing this on to my vegetarian, co"

This recipe was awesome! I don't understand any of the comments saying it was soupy. I bought the extra large corn tortillas which are better for enchiladas, 7 1/2 inch diameter. I cooked the sauce as directed and let it thicken and my only complaint was that there was not enough sauce! I bought another can for the leftovers and it was perfect."

Another great recipe that can be modified to meet everyone's taste. With a family of 6 we usually have a variety of veggies and meats on hand. The cream cheese and tortilla base is so delicious and then we added turkey or ham or bacon, also added some avacado, lettuce and tomatoes to make a vegetarian version. It was a delicious and fun change "

This is a great, simple pasta salad to be enjoyed by all. I didn't have grape tomatoes, so just used roma tomatoes. I added a can of sliced black olives because we love them. I think this is a fantastic base and you could add anything you really like. We did not have any short pasta, called 3 friends and no one had any, so I made it with spagh"

This is absolutely delicious. I made it for the 3rd time today and still a huge winner. I have a big family so use more meat, rice and double the pico de gallo. There are several steps, but you can do most of the work in the morning and just assemble at the end. You can make the pico de gallo ahead and leave out the avocado and cilantro till t...

This sandwich is fantastic, especially together with the roasted tomato soup. The challah bread makes the sandwich. We skipped the cranberry sauce, used the mayo on both slices of bread, then served with assorted jams on the side so each person could choose what they wanted.""

This was delicious and very easy to make. I was a bit heavy handed with the balsamic which caused it to be a little sweeter than I prefer, so I would watch that more closely next time. I do not have an immersion blender, but a very large and still I nearly burned myself because my first batch was too large. So keep the batches smaller or wait ...
