Reviewed My Mother's Praised Chicken
"I have made this almost once a week this winter. It is so easy, and we love having some left over for lunch/dinner the next day. My only complaint would be that, because the chicken is cooked whole in the 'soup', I realize the next day (after the leftovers are refrigerated) how much fat is present. Of course, that makes it taste great, but I'd love an easy way to remove some of the fat at the time that it's cooked, or before serving (the first day).
