My Activity

Reviewed Pecan Squares

"this is heaven in a bar. if you're having problems, seriously your pan might not be big enough. shortbread is hard to determine whether or not it's done but so worth it. it's so pricey so try halving the recipe. :) ""

Reviewed Braciole

"what am i doing wrong? my meat comes out D-R-Y. everything else, especially the sauce, is absolutely divine but the meat is just so dry. i've made it twice now and the second time i pounded the meat out more (i barely did it the first time which made my life hell trying to wrap those buggers and let it cook more and it was still so. dry. is it"

Reviewed Strawberry Puff Pastry Tart

"very good and super easy to make. the combination of the citrus in the cream cheese with the strawberries and the jam and the ice cream .... a wonderfully light and playful adventure for the taste buds! we don't like apricots so i used mango jam and it was superb. yummy"

Reviewed Morrocan Chili and 10,000 Grains of Sand

"this dish is so amazing! we used dried mangoes instead of apricots and it was so delicious! every bite was something different .... varying from sweet to savory to spicy. the couscous was deliciously flavored with the mint and chives. it's a party for the palate!"

Reviewed Blueberry-Nectarine Crisp

"it was so amazing. totally used some zest and juice of an orange as well. topped it with vanilla bean ice cream and it was comforting and sweet and warm and perfect. i learn more from watching anne in 10 minutes than i do from anyone else.
(ps. her method of making fresh pasta is easy and delicious as well). thanks anne!"
