Reviewed Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars with Streusel Topping

Jan 8, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

WOW. These bars were absolutely delicious, and like everyone else said, so easy to make. I excluded the caramel sauce, primarily because I did not have time to make any, but they were fantastic on their own! Photos on my blog....sweetcarolinescooking[dot]com. [Unfortunately, I cannot post the link to my blog on this comment, but please feel free to...

Reviewed Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Spicy Caramel Apple Sauce and Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise

Dec 4, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

WOW. What a delicious dish! As stated in previous comments, this recipe was extremely time consuming (I think it took me about 6 hours total), so I highly recommend breaking the task up into two days. I made a few alterations to the recipe, primarily because I didn't have a couple of ingredients. Photos on my blog:

These sandwiches are my go-to recipe for any dinner party, event, celebration, etc. They are absolutely delicious! I always double the recipe, but still use two loaves of focaccia bread. I also make Giada's homemade pesto. Recipe alterations and photos on my blog: http://sweetcarolinescooking.wordpress.com/2010/11/16/presto-pesto-mini-italian-clu...

Reviewed Espresso Caramel Bars

Nov 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

These bars were absolutely delicious and were definitely a hit! The only ingredient I excluded from the recipe was the smoked sea salt, as I was not able to find any in the grocery store. The bars were even better after chilling in the fridge for a couple hours. Photos on my blog: http://sweetcarolinescooking.wordpress.com/2010/09/29/chocolate-ca...

Reviewed Chicken Aioli Sandwich

Nov 1, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

This sandwich was absolutely delicious! In regards to the comment below, I had difficulty creating the aioli the first time around & ended up with oil soup as well. If you beat the eggs at high-speed before pouring the oil in VERY slowly, constantly beating at high-speed (7 or 8), the aioli will come out creamy and delicious---the amount of oil in...

Reviewed Fresh Fruit Tart

Oct 30, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Simple and delicious! There's never a crumb leftover when I make this dessert for a dinner party. The tart of the lime glaze works wonderfully with the cream cheese layer. I could probably eat the entire tart myself! Photos on my blog: http://sweetcarolinescooking.wordpress.com/2010/10/10/tart-time-fresh-fruit-tart/

Reviewed Pumpkin Lasagna

I made this lasagna for dinner last night and it was absolutely AMAZING! I used lean ground turkey instead of sausage to make the dish leaner and it worked wonderfully with the other ingredients. Everyone in my family couldn't get enough of this lasagna. Photos and my small changes to the recipe are posted on my blog: http://sweetcarolinescooking...
