2 of 4 really liked them. (1 of 4 thought it okay) I used whole grain French loaf and made them like Panini. Left off the mustard because the family doesn't like. I liked the flavors of the rub on the cauliflower.

Yum. Everyone liked this one. Made a few changes... used brown rice and cooked about 30 minutes, added carrots and bacon, and used Monterrey jack cheese plus thyme, since my family is not a fan of dill. Tasted a lot like ratatouille. This will definitely go into my rotation.

Great recipe. I just added about 4 Tblsp wheat germ to the mix to add some grain/fiber. I agree with the other comments that it's WAY too much milk. I mixed 4 cups of mix with about 3 1/4 cup milk.

As prepared, I would actually give it 2 stars, but I think I was a little heavy on the milk and beer. The texture was overly moist, almost soggy. It may be better reheated tomorrow. The flavors were okay. (but then anything with cheese and bacon can't be bad)

I must preface my family's review with the fact that I have never made...

I would give this 100 stars if I could. Yummiest sauce ever. I have made it with the short ribs, but tonight I used a thick roast. I cut the roast into short-rib-sized pieces (about 4" x 4") and it worked great. I serve this over chunks of boiled parsleyed potatoes. "

Make this with chicken breast, leek instead of scallions, and served over potatoes. A nice fall meal! I also added some chicken stock before putting in the oven. Not sure how much salt I used. I salt each layer accordingly, as I go along.

Made this tonight with Porterhouse steaks. I had cut back a little on the salt based on other reviews, but it was still VERY salty. The flavors were great though. The kids liked it too. It has a slight BBQ flavor to it. Next time I would cut the salt in half.

This is so good, made it again. Used green beans this time, since no peas in the house. Still good. A time-saving tip: Use crushed croutons instead of making up your own panko crumbs. You don't need to add oil to them, they are nice and crunchy, add a great flavor (I like the garlic ones), and cheaper than panko too. Best tuna cassorole ever!""

Family loves this for lent. My husband can't eat shellfish, so this is a good "seafood stew".
