This was great, but I wish I had followed the recipe and used all bittersweet chocolate. I used half bittersweet and half semisweet and it was reeeally sweet...and that says a lot coming from me! It was great with raspberries and strawberries. I made half the recipe (used 2 egg yolks and 2 egg whites) and it was more than enough for 4 or 5 people.

I loved this soup! I added chopped onion and celery, per other reviews, and only used the juice of one lemon. I used a mini bowtie pasta instead of the spaghetti. I didn't have high hopes for this recipe, but thought I'd try it because it sounded pretty easy. I ended up really liking it. I used cream of mushroom soup and light mayo, but other than that, stuck to the recipe. I'm not usually a huge water chestnut fan, but I really liked the crunch they added.
