Reviewed Orange Balsamic Rock Cornish Game Hens
"I made this with 2 Hens. I followed the recipe, but I did add one large clove of Garlic that I grated on my zester and added about 2 TB of orange zest. I made the entire sauce recipe, because I wanted leftover. Next time I will roast them at 375 the entire time, with the sugar in the sauce, they did tend to get too black at the higher temp. They c""
Reviewed Engagement Roast Chicken
"My Daughter had made this and did not even make the sauce, the Chicken was so moist and tender, I made it the next week. I used a 5 lb Roaster and followed the recipe exactly. I cooked the Chicken at 425 for almost 1 hour and 25 mins, it was so moist and tender ! The best roast chicken I have ever made. I will have to agree with some other's, I found the use of 2 whole lemons was too much. Next time I will use the same amount in the chicken, but just use the remainder of one lemon with the onions, which by the way came out so tender and very good. DO use the size pan recommended. The sauce was so good, it will even be better with less lemon next time, but that is just a personal taste. I also rubbed some dry Oregano on the Chicken. The one who gave this 1 star, needs to go to a cooking class.

Reviewed Stuffed French Bread
"I made this for a pot luck, since it was around Christmas, I used red and green peppers, added green onions, and chopped up some thin sliced Ham instead of the dried Beef. I also used Baguettes. It was a hit !!!! And looked like Christmas with both colors of Peppers.
Reviewed Grilled Prawns with Caper Tzatziki
"First of all cook your Shrimp anyway you like it, boil it, Bake it, saute, or grill it. As far as the Tzatziki sauce , it is not a true Tzatziki sauce, which is a greek sauce, which is made with Yougurt, grated Onion, grated Cucumbers and garlic. It is a very good sauce, you can add the capers if you like, try the sauce this way, I do recommend the Greek Yougurt, if you have ever had a Gyro, that is the sauce, sour cream can also be used...
Reviewed Winter Minestrone
"I watched Giada make this and had to try it. I watched her while I made it, followed her steps, I also followed the recipe , the only change I made was I used Spinach instead of Chard, was good, next time I will try the Chard. You cannot rate a recipe unless you make it like she did, maybe one or 2 small changes but changing the meat or other things will not be this recipe. I used the Pancetta, only takes less than a 1/4 of a pound and the Rind really makes it. Ask the Deli they may have one if you don't , I also added more broth , but that depends on how soupy you want it. This is great on a cold day, makes a good size batch, will have it everyday for Lunch. It is that good !!!
