My Activity

Reviewed Fig and Ginger Truffles

"This was very simple to make, and delicious. Also healthy! (or healthier, anyway, than a typical dessert)

I cannot stress enough how much my friends and fam loved this. A big winner, and I will make it again!

Reviewed Pasta Primavera

"I normally love Ellie's recipes, but this one was a bit bland, at least to me. That said, my boyfriend disagrees and loves it! I did make a change - I used vegetable stock instead of chicken stock, to make it vegetarian. But I don't think that should have made the difference.

Reviewed Cherry Ricotta Cheesecake

"This recipe was not hard to make, and absolutely fantastic. I nearly died from the joy of eating this cheesecake! And it is healthy (or healthier, anyway) for a cheesecake, given the nonfat cheese. Wow. Ellie hit this one out of the park!

Reviewed Cafe Hon's Mixed Berry Pie

"This recipe is out of this world good. The pie was just soooo delicious, and it melted in my mouth. The only critique I would give is to use just slightly less sugar. The filling calls for 1 cup - I would use 3/4 cup of sugar. Also, the instructions were not clear on what to do with the 1.5 tablespoons of butter. In fact, you cut it up and dab it on top of the berries, and leave it there all over the pie. Otherwise, amazing. One of the best pies I have eaten.

Reviewed Chai Tea

"I like the recipe a heck of a lot, and I have made it many times. However, I get the sense, every time I make the recipe, that it needs a little something more - and I am not sure what! I have added simply more spices, but then the recipe is simply too spicey. Maybe this needs some nutmeg. Anyway, my friends adore this recipe, and they always love when I make this!

Reviewed Throwdown Pumpkin Pie

"This recipe is amazing. It produces the best pumpkin pie I ever ate in my life. I made this with fresh pumpkin and also I produced the graham cracker crust. My only advice is to add slightly more cinnamon than it calls for in the crust, and to cook the crust for 10 minutes, not 15. (at least at ground level elevation) Otherwise, amazing. I had no bourbon for the whipped cream, and that did not seem to matter. My friends and family were absolutely wowed by this spectacular pie, which was so rich and creamy, it tasted almost like cheesecake!

Reviewed Roasted Salmon with Shallot Grapefruit Sauce

"This recipe is totally delicious. My only critique is that it is hard to cook the salmon and the sauce in sync with each other, so that the temperature matches up. Regardless, it is light and refreshing - totally delicious!

Reviewed Chicken Cacciatore

"This recipe is awesome. It is literally amazing. I call it a flavor explosion in my mouth! The best chicken cacciatore I have ever had - and so healthy!
