Reviewed Salmon Cakes
"Excellent recipe. Started too late in the afternoon not realizing how much time it was going to take me to prep all the ingredients.
I too used the panko crumbs which I did brown in the oven. Also used the wild sockeye salmon which I purchased at Costco. They have them in their frozen section and they come in individual packs in a bag.

"I have prepared this appetizer up to the point of stuffing the shells. I used lump crab meat inlieu of shrimp, as I am doing a shrimp dish for the entree. Also I halved the recipe. "I just finished making this. I only gave it 4 stars right now as I have not tasted it yet. The liquid for the ladyfingers makes way too much. Not sure what to do with the leftovers. Also my glass pyrex 9x13 really wasn't deep enough so I only had room for 2 layers and therefore made another in an 8x8 with the filling being a bit stingy. I froze that one and when I take it out I will try and mix some cream cheese with some whipped cream to make the top layer a bit thicker. Very expensive to make. Would love to know how to half this. Don't know if one can just cut all ingredients in half. Will write later with a tasting review."
