Reviewed geoffrey's lemon tart

Jun 20, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is the perfect lemon tart recipe. True lemon lovers wont mind forgoing the tart and will just eat the filling. A few corrections, though, since I watched GZ prepare the recipe on air as I followed the recipe in print. Here are the discrepancies: 3/4 c sugar instead of 2/3 c; combine sugar, eggs, and salt in a bowl THEN slowly incorporate...

As this is my second time making this by popular demand, I can attest to the goodness of this recipe. If there is a short-cut that makes for less fuss without altering the flavor, I take it. Therefore, instead of drizzling melting chocolate over the top, I sprinkle mini chocolate chips, followed by toasted and chopped pecans. Also, it's quite good...

Dec 20, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

My family would never eat sloppy joe's; however, sloppy lo's are a repeat. The sauce is a great basis for our add-in of browned turkey and our vegetarian prefers black beans. I spice it up with hot sauce and pepper flakes. It has a great tomato flavor with a bit of sweetness.

The cookies are tasty without the filling, but fun with the filling. As long as you follow the directions, you'll have no problem. I've never used almond flour, but it was well worth it. It adds a wonderful flavor. This recipe is a keeper!"

It was easy, delicious and all gone. It is so reminiscent of my mother's chicken pot pie, except a smidge better. After reading reviews of soupy gravy, I cooked up a bit of roux before adding stock and cream of chicken. That buttermilk really adds a zip to the crust."

All gone . . . even the picky eater liked them. After reading the posts, I made a few revisions. I warmed the tortillas by spraying each side of the tortilla with Pam and warming them in a pan; having no mascarpone, I mixed cream cheese and sour cream together; baked at 400 for 20 minutes without cheese, then added cheese for last 10 minutes. Delicious as prepared according to recipe or with a few variations. The cucumber based sauce and flavorful meat filling are the backbone of this dish. Having made this more than a few times, I've changed it up by serving on naan bread, substituting turkey for lamb, and forgoing feta in the tzatziki to make a seperate spread of goat cheese and su"

Having never been a fan of tomato soup from the can, this recipe redeems tomato soup. It's hearty, luscious, and big on flavor. It's also waistline friendly if the 1/2 & 1/2 is substituted with skim--and it doesn't diminish the taste.""
