Made only one change and it was only to the pasta used. Since it';s near to impossible to break lasagna noodles in nice pieces, I substituted mafalda past - they look like mini-lasagna noodles. Other than this, I followed the recipe and it turned out so good! Thank you so much!"

Made as directed with these changes - used 1 bunch broccoli, 1 head cauliflower, increased amount of bacon, didn't soak the red onion and used 1/2 of one, and doing this I had to double the amount of dressing. Put dressing on in the morning so flavors could "marry", and shortly before serving later that day - added the bacon. So easy and soooooo...

After I changed it up, I liked it. I put 1 onion in it, 1 cup diced celery and 1 cup shredded carrot, 4 cups broth, 2 large russets peeled diced/small chop, 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, 1 tablespoon diced dill pickles and 1 tablespoon yellow mustard . This adds to the cheeseburger flavor!!"

5 stars with my changes - was too mild/bland for what I like. Did follow the recipe with these changes: I put in 12 oz - not 8 - of hot Italian sausage. For the 1/4 c. chili powder, I used Penzey's Chili 3000. I still put in the 1 T. cumin and the 1 T. oregano (substituted Mexican oregano. For the beer, I used what we had in house - Dos Equ"

Loved it! I did use 2 cups of beef broth in place of the water and the 4 T. of paprika called for - I used 2 T. Hungarian paprika and 2 T hot Hungarian paprika. I tend to like spicy! So super easy and so good. Served over the buttered noodles, but when it came to leftovers we served over mashed potatoes. Both ways were great!! Thank you Jamie"
