Reviewed Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

8 days ago in on Food.com

These are a perfect use for those zucchinis you find in your garden that have somehow grown to the size of a canoe. I have made these twice now - first time as written, second time with twice the amount of Old Bay - they needed more to suit my taste. I shred and freeze a lot of zucchini - I';m happy to have a recipe to use instead of zucchini...

Reviewed Herbed Feta Stuffed Mini Bell Peppers

8 days ago in on Food.com

The mini bells in my garden were VERY productive this year and I was happy to find this recipe! I sliced them in half (top to bottom) thinking they would make nice "cups" to hold the cheese mix without too much spilling out as it melted. And it worked! Giving four stars because although the flavor was great, I think I will add a little cream chee...

I made these as directed, and used Fleur de Sel after they had cooled completely. My only suggestion is to pop the finished pan of brownies in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before cutting. I had a really hard time cutting them so they looked nice enough (the topping really gets globbed up on your knife) to bring somewhere that I wanted to impress...

Whoa! Super easy! Pretty fast! Tasty! What more could you ask for? I made this for my brother and DH and they both ate all of it. Served with an Italian pasta salad, this made for a nice early spring dinner!"

This recipe was fabulous! I took the suggestions from other reviewers and used baby bella mushrooms, and substituted fresh garlic for the garlic salt. I accidentally forgot to drizzle the melted butter over the stuffed mushrooms, but they still turned out great! I also used an Italian cheese blend instead of just Parmesan. I will definitely be m...

Found this in an old RR cookbook and despite the mediocre reviews on this site, I made it anyway. Boy, am I glad I did! Made it as written except that I used all stock instead of stock and water. It was rich and flavorful! I would say, however, that an entire pound of spinach is too much. I used a regular bag of ready-to-eat baby spinach (about 9oz)...

Reviewed creamy jalapeno popper macaroni and cheese

Feb 16, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I made a half recipe of this as it was just my husband and myself. This was SO incredibly RICH that we could've gotten away with a quarter recipe and we'd have been completely satisfied. I used Vermont white cheddar, Boar's Head smoked Gruyere, and we had it with crab cakes and a nice green salad. I'm vegetarian but I can appreciate that my husband...

Amazing vegetarian dish. Made this for Meatless Monday and even the carnivorous husband didn't miss the meat! The chipotle can make it pretty spicy so go easy if you're sensitive. I usually make this exactly as the recipe is written and we simply love it. Please, don't skip out on the avocado cream - it's wonderful!
