I used this recipe as a guide to make biscuits and gravy; instead of making the sausage patties, broke the sausage apart in the pan as I cooked it, flavored it with the recommended spices in the recipe, and poured it into the cream sauce - delicious! I used my own biscuit recipe, but I'm sure this one is good too."

A great classic! I used homemade egg noodles & they were delish. I also used a frozen chicken carcass from a previous chicken coq au vin dinner. I added a few chicken breasts and it was perfect.
