Reviewed pea, lettuce and fennel soup

Feb 25, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Wow! I get organic veggies delivered every other Friday. Was a little disappointed with my box this time. I got shallots, fennel, butter lettuce and a few other things. Saw Giada's show and thought WOW I have everything. Made it exactly as the recipe states but did use my immersion blender (less clean up). I really loved this soup! So light...

YUM! 28 saltines and 12 ounces good choc chips, other than that followed to the letter. SO GOOD, will be in my recipe repertoire forever! I could change stuff, but WHY?"

As a California girl, I had only had grits once, somewhere in Texas. They were pretty awful. I saw this episode and the ingredients and HAD to try this recipe. Holy moly, are these grits delicious! (So maybe not so healthy). I call them the mac and cheese of grits! Will now experiment with other ingredients to make slightly healthier grits,...

Yum! I made these with the Plantation Grits and asparagus - a delicious dinner! Used Dijon mustard - out of yellow - and the gravy was wondeful. I will review the grits separately but can say they were wonderful!""

Best cornbread I've ever made - or eaten,! I used medium ground corn meal and my skillet was a little smaller than Alex's, but it puffed up beautifully. Everyone who tried it, loved it! A keeper for sure! Next time I'll serve it with the strawberry jam from the Food Network magazine!""

Wow, was so much better than I thought it would be as I was making it. Got a little "fancy pants" with the dressing - I used white balsamic vinegar instead of white wine vinegar and agave nectar instead of honey. But we both really enjoyrd this salad and will make again for sure. Nice suprise!"

Followed exactly...well except I used olive oil mayo and low fat sour cream....guess the bacon cancelled those good intentions out!
Anyway, these were delicious! This whole meal was a winner! Will make again."

Wow, this was delicious! I made it following the recipe exactly, except my pan wasn't tall enough for one more layer. I couldn't shred my fresh mozzarella, so I just broke it up on top. It browned beautifully. I had just made Anne's spaghetti and meatballs a couple of weeks ago (another big winner BTW) so I had leftover marinara in the freezer....

These potatoes were really good! I didn't have peppered goat cheese but I did have "purple haze" goat cheese - flavored with lavender and other herbs. I used a little more pepper and followed the rest of the recipe exactly and it was really yummy. I will make these potatoes again!
