My Activity

Reviewed Baked Manicotti with Sausage and Peas

"I took the lazy cook's way out and used orichette pasta (only because I have always wanted to try this shape instead of manicotti and made a casserole instead. I also did not add any extra salt because I am sensitive to salt in general. With the amount of salt in the fonduta sauce from the cheese, I thought it was just perfect for our family's taste buds! Even my 19 month old loved every bit of it, and it was easier for her to eat on her own because the pasta was already "bite size"!"

Reviewed Grilled Cream Corn with Parmesan

"The grilled corn added a nice smoky flavor. I used just a little less pecorino romano than the recipie called for, but the corn stayed crispy even a couple days later. A huge hit in my household! We are always looking for ways to keep the corn in creamed corn crispy!"

Reviewed Lobster Tail

"My first time making lobster of any sort. It was easy and turned out good! I heated the pan on medium high until drops of water sizzled off. Then i just dumped 1/2 cup water, put the lobster in, covered it and let it stay that way for 8 minutes exactly. I did not season it enough for my taste, but that was my own fault, not knowing how much seasoning a lobster should take."
