Reviewed Eggs Benedict

"My rating is for the hollandaise sauce only because that is all I tried. I would have reviewed Alton's other hollandaise recipe except that it's different enough from this one to warrant a separate review. I have never made hollandaise before and this was very easy to make. I agree with other reviewers that trying to take the temperature constantly was very awkward and I gave up on that after just a few minutes in. Also, I don't have a gas range, so I had to use medium-low heat instead of low because it was just taking way too long to come together. I also agree with the other reviewers about this being too "lemony", or as my family said, "twangy". I will significantly reduce the amount of lemon juice the next time, and there will definitely be a next time. Otherwise, another great "how-to" by my favorite TV host.

"This recipe is delicious and very easy. So easy I made it from memory. For those who don't like this show, don't watch! There are obviously many people like me who love Jamie and his cooking. You can get all of his recipes from his website, and I'd like to say that I've had the same problem with the Barefoot Contessa. Only some of her shows recipes were posted on this website, and I had to go to her website to get the ones I wanted. Ever wonder why the Food Network has CAR advertisements on their website? These are businesses being run. You want to get paid for your hard-work, so why would you expect less from those who run this network that we love and wonderful chefs like Jamie?

Reviewed Crispy and Delicious Asparagus and Potato Tart

"I really loved this recipe. Some of the other reviewers found it under-seasoned, but as Jamie doesn't specify an amount for salt and pepper, I would suggest this isn't the recipe's fault. My advice, taste the filling before putting it in the pastry to bake. Adjust as needed. I personally love potatoes, cream, butter and cheese. If you do, too, make this recipe. Using a sharp cheddar also helps up the flavor. I used a really old, stinky white cheddar. There is lots of room to make this recipe your own, which I love. Also, the presentation is fantastic. As Jamie would say, Delish!
