About Me

I am an intermediate home cook. I love trying all new recipes and different cultures. My passion is baking and pastries are the bomb. I love the FoodNetwork Channel, Cooking Channel, Louisiana Cooking, Fine Cooking and almost anything food. I have quite the collection of cookbooks from all over and some from the 1800's. Some have temputures and others you just have to figure out. The old wood cook stoves did not have those luxuries but I remember my Aunt Clarme's cakes, bisquits, and corn bread were to die for. I think there is a lot to be said about cooking from that era. It did not stunt my growth. I am passionate about life in general and would love to experience European food from across the seas. That is my dream one day to go abroad and taste the many foods of a quaint little town with the best of cooks! Greetings to all and keep on cooking!!!!
