I'm confused. I found this recipe on Paula's newsletter that I received by e-mail and the recipe only calls for 2 pounds of lean beef. Where is the turkey coming from (which by the way I find the idea of adding to this dish not appetizing). Has anyone made this without the turkey?"

I also reduced the amount of egg to just two eggs. I admit it was a bit dry the first time I tried it but I made some adjustments. I use Evaporated Whole Milk or Half and Half to add a more creamy taste. The consistency was not unlike some others I have tried.
