I tried this recipe because I wanted something a little different than the typical red sauce for a change. It's a new go-to for occasions when I have the time and inclination for something comforting and satisfying.

It's no wonder this soup was a prize winner. It is creamy without being heavy or gloppy, very flavorful in spite of the simple combination of ingredients, comforting, and absolutely delicious!"
