the cake portion is 2 cups of sugar. The � cup sugar is for the lemony syrup portion. That is why it says "2 � cups, divided".

Yum-o! Used a rosemary focaccia bread from Village Bakery (Davis, CA). Used baby spinach b/c I don't like frisee. Used a little dijon w/mayo. Used Genova tuna. Used George Foreman mini grill.Excellent! It was so good my 8 yr old loved it! I would make it again & again!"

OMG! I baked the recipe as 18 cupcakes+2 mini loaf pans. I baked the cupcakes right away. I did not put the syrup or glaze until the next day when I baked the mini loaf cakes. (I had put the mini loaves in the fridge for 1 day.) Even though the minis went from the fridge to oven 24 hrs later, it still turned out great! I poked cupcakes+minis "

These lemon bars were awesome! I made 3 batches and they all came out perfect!
One batch was slightly over cooked, as a result the outer 1/2 inch of my lemon bars have the slightly rubber, gummy taste like the other review. But just cut off the edges before serving.""
