Boyfriend & I loved this recipe. I already had pesto in the fridge so it was very easy to prepare this. (Store bought pesto would be fine for this recipe I followed the recipe exactly with local grown tomatoes-it was so delicious. Served the tomato slices on toasted bagettes. Fantastic! Don't post if you haven't tried it. omg. I have tried it and it's very good. Keep it in the fridge and it should last a long time; but stop worrying about that and just use it. I put a few tablespoon over ravolis and it was great; especially with a mound of fresh parmesan cheese on top. Great flavor.
