dt Prescott: Great review and exactly what I was concerned about. How long do you reheat the next day? And do you take it out of the fridge and bring it to room temperature on the day you reheat it, too?

Our grocery store doesn't stock self-rising buttermilk cornmeal and the episode doesn't list the amounts for her pre-mixed mix. Can anyone give the measurements for the flour, cornmeal, salt and baking soda to make this recipe?

I used half and half instead of milk, They came out kind of rubbery and did not brown at all on the top, like in the picture. Would the difference in milks create this problem? If not, did anyone else have them come out rubbery and not at all browned? They were totally puffed up after 10 minutes so I took them out. Taste was great. Texture was aw...

Soooooo good. I gave it four stars instead of five because after sitting in the fridge overnight, they really are too sweet. I am going to try less sugar until I get the balance right. They were PERFECT after cooling out of the oven. A++.

I am also going to try parchment over all four lips of my pan next time. My crust was perfect....
