The decision to go vegetarian as a young lass forced me to acquire skills in the kitchen (or else die of culinary boredom!). Fifteen years down the road I decided to eat poultry and fish, which began as a slow and cautious expedition. I am fairly certain that I will not ever partake in the consumption of any flesh of mammal again. I prefer consuming whole foods, and using fresh, organic and locally grown foods whenever possible.
I relish in experiencing the differences and similarities in food across the globe.
