Reviewed Olive Garden Pasta E Fagioli Soup in a Crock Pot (Copycat)

"Wish this was more soupy. Very good winter soup. Almost stew like. Served it with crusty french bread. Made noodles separate and added independently to bowls instead of in pot like so many recommended. Will have to freeze. This is a ton of food."

Reviewed Paula Deen Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

"Amazingly simple and delicious. My husband raved about how great this dish turned out. This is the Only way to prepare Mac and cheese. Paula Deen always hits one out of the park when it comes to cooking southern style. As easy and delicious as her recipe for greens, which by the way I served with the Mac and cheese."

"I have been eating greens my entire life. My father is from KY and my mom always had a pot of beans or greens on the stove. Reviewed Roasted Shrimp with Thousand Island Dressing

"I quadrupled this recipe and it came out great. Instead of dribbling EVOO and lemon on shrimp, I put the shrimp in a bowl and tossed with the oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and just transferred to the baking sheet. The shrimp were succulent. LOVED the dressing. So easy, and all the ingredients in my cupboard already. We put the shrimp on heated corn tortillas with red cabbage and avacado slices. Was delish and so light. Thanks, Ina.

Reviewed Braised Red Cabbage

"What a delicious savory cabbage dish. I did not have bacon in the house and substituted panchetta which worked just as well. I was a little reticent about using a cinnamon stick, but I went for it and it was fantastic. I served this with Ina's Roasted duck recipe and people raved. The melding of the flavors in this recipe were amazing. This dish is even better the next day.

My husband and I love to lay around on the weekends watching Ina, Anne Burrell, Bobby Flay, Sunny Anderson and the gang on the Food Network. I am a grandma of a 3 y/o and newborn. I also am my 78 y/o mom's caregiver. In my 9-5, I work as a cancer adminstrator.
