Replied to Black Bean Brownies Recipe : Melissa d'Arabian : Food Network

What?! Her show is cancelled? I'm really disappointed to hear that. It's probably because the increase in the cost of food has made it nearly impossible to make many dinners for ten dollars anymore. Anyway, I really enjoy watching Melissa and some of our favorite recipes are HERS. Rock on, Melissa. Ignore the haters!

This was wonderful! I used the leftovers as main dishes for other meals and I'm looking forward to making it again. (In the interest of full disclosure, my husband didn't like it; but before I had even made it, he didn't like the idea of "puree". That turned out to be okay -- all the more for me!) It had a surprisingly sweet flavor and even a bit "

I made this for dinner tonight and my husband made a point several times of saying how much he liked it. He even commented specifically on the biscuits and, like another reviewer, I had even used Greek yogurt in place of the sour cream. I think Melissa is great and as others have said before, they need to remove the $10 limit from her. We've liked"

This was delicious and easy and I didn't even make ANY sauce to go over it. The tomato bisque thing just didn't sound good to me... I had jarred pasta sauce on hand, as another reviewer had done, just in case it needed something. But we didn't think it needed sauce at all! I doubled the recipe and gave some to my mother and she liked it, too. The...

We really liked this and I have to admit, I was in a hurry and even forgot to create the foil packet. I just put them on foil on a rimmed baking sheet. I didn't have the Parmeson Style Topping and didn't miss it. I especially liked that this recipe was delicious and healthy without having to use a lot of chemical-laden low cal ingredients.""

We really enjoyed this -- so much so that I have my second one in two days in the oven right now! And I don't normally care about desserts that are orange, lemon, etc.; to me, dessert means chocolate. But this is delicious and such a nice texture. I only had one slice left of the first one today to share with my mom. I'll give her a bigger piece ...

Oh yes, this one's definitely a winner. Easy and delicious. I made it for the second time yesterday morning. I served my husband what I thought was a hearty portion and turned around a few minutes later to see that he had finished that and was starting on another piece of the same size. This will be something tasty and interesting to serve next t...

Absolutely delicious! Loved this and it was so easy to make. My husband said he sure was glad I was watching Food Network this morning. We enjoyed the texture; a bit like a crust on the edges, more like custard toward the bottom. I didn't even have fruit for a topping, I just used powdered sugar. I have to remember to make this the next time I ha...
