Reviewed Asian Meatball Subs With Hoisin Mayonnaise
"These were a total hit at a superbowl party. They were the favorite snack and everyone who ate them was RAVING about them. They were however a bit time consuming to make (I was preparing rather leisurely), so I'm unsure if I would make them again. I think the idea to serve these as sliders instead of on a baguette is a great one... wish I had caught that earlier! I also added some coarsely chopped cilantro to the garnish on top.
Reviewed Sarah's PB&J Chocolate Bars
"These went over very well at a superbowl party. Everyone got so excited when I explained what they were. They were quite easy to make, tasted delicious, but were a bit rich/heavy due to being made with so much butter. A few modifications: I used less butter than called for in both the peanut butter and chocolate topping layers and it was still fine (next time I would probably cut the butter in a few more places too). Also, I used unsalted roasted peanuts as I felt like the saltines would be salty enough. I think both of those changes worked out well.
Reviewed Almost-Famous Spinach-Artichoke Dip
"Really a great dip. It turned out flavorful, creamy, and delicious. I had no trouble with adding the lemon juice and think it came out excellent as written. I brought it to a superbowl party where someone else also brought a spinach artichoke dip, but the (quiet) consensus was that this was the better recipe.
